CPL UK are assisting an large private healthcare provider who are hiring for a permanent Healthcare Account Manager to join their team at one of the West Midlands site.

Job Opportunity: Healthcare Account Manager (Temporary) 

Location: Onsite –  Shrewsbury

Rate: £25–£30 per hour

Contract: Ongoing Role – Temo or Perm

Mileage: Paid at 45p per mile beyond normal commute

Our client is currently looking for a Healthcare Account Manager to join our team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a permanent role.


About the Role

As a Healthcare Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving our hospital’s referral growth strategy. Working closely with our Director of Operations, you will promote our services to local employers, GPs, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals. You’ll also lead marketing and event initiatives that showcase the clients brand, increase patient referrals, and strengthen our ties within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow selected specialty lines via targeted outreach to GPs, physiotherapists, businesses, and other referral sources.

  • Develop and execute a local marketing and events strategy to promote services and build brand visibility.

  • Work collaboratively with consultants, internal teams, and external stakeholders to support specialty-specific referral plans.

  • Deliver regular reporting on activity and performance.

  • Identify new business opportunities and innovative approaches to strengthen partnerships.

  • Organise and deliver educational and promotional events for GPs and other key audiences.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records to support account management and relationship tracking.


About You

Essential:

  • Proven track record in sales and business development.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Confident presenting to GPs, consultants, and corporate clients.

  • Strong time management and analytical skills.

  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a private healthcare setting.

  • Familiarity with the private healthcare sector and its stakeholders.
