CPL UK are currently seeking a Respiratory Consultant to join a Surrey based NHS Trust for a six month locum.
The post is for a Respiratory Consultant Physician but the job plan is likely to be unique to the individual so would need to be discussed and agreed before starting.
The role consists of 8 Programmed Activities (PA) of direct clinical care and 2 PAs for Supporting
Professional Activity.
The majority of the DCC workload is divided evenly between consultants on each site in rotation.
The majority of the activity is delivered in two week blocks with cross cover for annual leave.
Generally, most weeks will consist of at least 2 outpatient clinics (standard template consists of 4
new patient + 6 follow-up attendances), MDT meetings +/- procedure lists/ward rounds
(approximately 20 beds)/inpatient specialty reviews.
The core activities will include:
- Ward Rounds
- Procedures
- Specialist in-reach reviews
- Clinics
