Supporting information:

Candidate must have recent tertiary paediatric experience

Anaesthetics start work at 08:00am and have 45 minutes to review the patients on their list that day. Theatre start time is 08:45am-17:15am.

The Anaesthetists will ensure the patient is in PACU and extubated by 18:00 at the end of their working day

Online learning required prior to attendance

The children’s CSU at trust will provide their own surgeons to cover lists
-
Trust will provide 2 Registered Scrub Nurses, a non-qualified runner, operating department practitioner and recovery staff for the paediatric post anaesthetic care unit (PACU)

Trust will provide ward staff pre-and post-operation
