Consultant Neurophysiologist – Birmingham – £2000 LTD per day

£2000 LTD Per day

Proposed Start Date:

7^th March 2026 – up to one year of work

Duties of Role:

EMG (Electromyography) and NCS (Nerve Conduction Studies) – including standard, extended, and specialist investigations.

Standard turnaround time for reports: within 7 working days (routine); expedited reporting for urgent cases (within 24 hours).

Experience Required:

Consultant Neurophysiologists (GMC-registered, ideally with specialist accreditation but not essential )

Day & Times / Session Pattern: (Start & Finish times)

Routine patients are 30 mins. MND complex will be a 1-hour slot. Clinic space available from 8am to 8pm.  2 session days (15 patients)

– 2 session days including 30 mins break (8am arrival with first patient at 8:30am with final patient finishing at 5pm)

Admin / Follow-ups Required: (Include time for admin in session)

New GP referrals – Very rare for follow ups but if there were any then the consultants would be expected to see these

Admin time built into patient appointment slots

Exception to submit reporting to the Trust directly via email account which will have been created for the staff

Additional information –

Any Special requirements /Compliance – i.e., Certain types of procedures or training needed/ certifications.

IT set up time is 48 hours but consultants do have to attend briefly onsite to activate accounts prior to 1st shift

IT Set up details -Name, contact number, email, GMC, What brand machines are being used (They will know what this means)

CONSULTANTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN MACHINES

No Smartcard requirements
