Location: York Hospital (with mandatory Thursday in Scarborough)

Contract Length: 3 months innitially

Role Overview
We are seeking a Consultant Clinical Haematologist to provide locum cover at York Hospital, with travel to Scarborough on Thursdays. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, as well as on-call duties. Level 2b Haem unit.
Key Responsibilities

Ward / acute cover

Laboratory work

MDT attendance

On-call cover:

Weekdays: ~1:5 frequency (24-hour shifts)

Weekends: ~1:7 frequency (48-hour shifts)

All other duties associated with a Consultant Clinical Haematologist post
Essential Requirements
-
Listed on the Specialist Register – Haematology
-
Consultant-level experience in clinical haematology
-
Ability to travel to Scarborough on Thursdays
