Cpl UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently Locum Consultant gastroenterologist
ASAP – 3 months initially
£120+ph outside of IR35
The suitable candidate needs to be able to do out of hours bleeds and inpatient gastro work (not negotiable) alongside their elective activity.
Typical job plan – wards, acute, 2 x admin per week, 4 Endoscopy lists and 4 clinics
There is a 1 in 9 on call rota covering out of hours for GI bleeds from home Monday to Friday.
Consultant work 1 in 9 weekends where they will do morning ward rounds and deal with any Gastro patients and bleeds and then on call from home for GI bleeds/endoscopic emergencies.
In addition to elective work, Consultants take it in turns to do a week on the wards seeing gastro inpatients. The ward consultant is the one that then covers the weekend for continuity.
The Consultant team also take it in turns to do a week of Gastro Acute working 9-5 Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
- GMC License
- Right to Work in the UK
- DBS Certificate
- 2 Recent References
