Location: Dorset County Hospital (DCH)

Contract: Consultant – Locum

Start Date: ASAP / Flexible

On-Call: 1 weekday in-hours per week + 1:5 weekend on-call rota

Rig Locums is delighted to partner with Dorset County Hospital (DCH) to recruit an exceptional Locum Consultant ENT Surgeon to join their dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-equipped department delivering high-quality ENT services to West and North Dorset and South Somerset.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Consultant in General ENT with a complementary sub-specialty interest in Rhinology or Benign Head & Neck (with or without thyroid surgery). Your expertise will help enhance and strengthen the service provided by a friendly team of six experienced consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality general ENT surgical and outpatient care

• Deliver specialist services in your chosen sub-specialty (Rhinology / Benign Head & Neck / Thyroid)

• Participate in a 1 day per weekday in-hours on-call schedule

• Take part in a 1 in 5 weekend on-call rota

• Undertake a range of theatre sessions and outpatient clinics during the week

• Contribute to ongoing service development and collaborative working across the department

About You

• GMC-registered Consultant ENT Surgeon (or within 6 months of CCT)

• Strong general ENT experience

• Sub-specialty interest in Rhinology / Benign Head & Neck / Thyroid
