Job Title: Consultant Anaesthetist

Location: Middlesborough 

Job Type: The position is for 40 hours a week, including time for CPD.  A part time position would also be considered.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist to join our Private clients hospital site in Middlesborough. You will work closely with their team of skilled professionals to deliver a high-quality anaesthetic service, covering inpatient and day case acute surgeries. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the anaesthetic team to provide comprehensive services
  • Participate in both inpatient and day case surgeries
  • Contribute to our commitment to safe and effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Current registration on the GMC Specialist Register
  • Several years of experience, including at least 2 years in the UK at Consultant level
  • Commitment to continuing professional education and development

The Hospital is based in a stunning grounds near Middlesbrough and opened in 2018. This hospital delivers a range of specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, gynaecology, dermatology, oral, endoscopy, to both private and NHS patients.

The theatre suite consists of 3 laminar air flow theatres, 6 stage 1 recovery bays and an endoscopy suite. Accommodation provides 12 bay day case unit and 19 in patient beds.

The client is a well-established global hospital group with 60 years’ experience. It is well respected within the healthcare industry and is one of the leading providers of independent hospital services in England.
